Overview of Course:
Many providers are unfamiliar with the numerous applications beyond regional anesthesia and vascular access that ultrasound can be used for in the field of anesthesia. By increasing baseline knowledge regarding the various uses of ultrasound among anesthesia providers, patients care will be improved.
Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
Review the origins of ultrasound technology and the development of diagnostic imaging.
Discuss common ultrasound application in anesthesia.
Examine newer applications of ultrasound in the field of anesthesia.
Consider future trends and research for ultrasound technology in anesthesia practice.
The post-test will not launch until you have watched the video in its entirety. A score of at least 80% is required to pass the exam in this course. The participant will have only 1 opportunity to successfully complete the post-test which is comprised of 10 random questions pulled from the pool of test questions. If the participant fails the post test, they will not receive any CE credits for this course.
