Overview of Course
The purpose of this program is to provide the learner with continuing education and a basic overview of the potential health effects related to using radiation with medical imaging for CRNAs, providing advanced interventional pain management procedures with fluoroscopy and CT technology.
Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
1. Describe the general biological health effects from ionizing radiation.
2. Define radiation-induced skin injuries and eye effects from working with fluoroscopy.
3. Define the factors affecting the safe ordering, prescribing, and dispensing of radiological pharmacological agents.
Verification of Participation
The participant will have only 2 opportunities to successfully complete the course post-test, which is comprised of 10 random questions pulled from the test pool of questions. The passing score of at least 80% is required for the exam in this course. If the participant fails the post test, he or she will not receive CE credits for this course.
