Overview of Course

Learn ways to create a more diverse nurse anesthesia program through strategic planning, outreach activities, and mentorship programming aimed at retention and under-represented diverse faculty recruitment. 

Learner Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

  1. Explain the scope of the problem of diversity in the nurse anesthesia profession through the use of one comparable health-related profession.
  2. Describe three ways to engage and promote diversity and inclusion within any institution/organization.
  3. List three to five activities that any nurse anesthesia program could institute to promote diversity and inclusion.

Verification of Participation

The participant will have only 2 opportunities to successfully complete the course post-test, which is comprised of 5 random questions pulled from the test pool of questions. The passing score of at least 80% is required for the exam in this course. If the participant fails the post test, he or she will not receive CE credits for this course.
