Overview of Course

The purpose of this program is to equip attendees with the fundamental information and skills necessary for Enhanced Recovery program success to improve patient outcomes and contribute to organizational health.

Learner Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

  1. Discuss how a continuous quality improvement utilizes a reporting and metric tracking process to create information for program optimization.
  2. Identify the gaps in surgical and obstetric pathway metrics that you are currently collecting and would like to collect to support continued program improvement and staff engagement.
  3. Describe your plan to optimize your current quality improvement program.

Verification of Participation

The participant will have only 2 opportunities to successfully complete the course post-test, which is comprised of 5 random questions pulled from the test pool of questions. The passing score of at least 80% is required for the exam in this course. If the participant fails the post test, he or she will not receive CE credits for this course.
