Our creative course design and microlearning environment provide an engaging learning experience that fits your busy schedule and keeps you up-to-date on the latest innovations in anesthesia practice.
The AANA CPC Core Modules will cover four major areas, adhering to NBCRNA performance objectives:
CPC Core Module 1: Airway Management Techniques
To enhance knowledge and skills in basic and advanced airway management instrumentation and techniques.
CPC Core Module 2: Applied Clinical Pharmacology
To enhance in-depth understanding of and provide learning experiences in the utilization, actions, interactions, and adverse effects of anesthetics and adjuvant medications.
CPC Core Module 3: Human Physiology and Pathophysiology
To enhance in-depth understanding of the physiological differences across the lifespan as well as the function of and interaction between organ systems and their associated disorders to ensure the safe and effective administration of anesthesia.
CPC Core Module 4: Anesthesia Equipment and Technology
To provide information on current anesthesia equipment, technology, and informatics.
PLEASE NOTE: The CPC Core Modules are currently optional (you do not need to complete them before your recertification in 2020/2021). They are mandatory for your SECOND 4-year cycle, beginning in 2020 or 2021 depending on your year.
