CPC Core Module 4: Anesthesia Technology

Overview of Course

This purpose of this activity is to enable to learner to provide information on current anesthesia equipment, technology, and informatics. The AANA CPC Core Modules are recognized as CPC Core Modules by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

Learner Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

1. Select and utilize appropriate anesthesia equipment to facilitate the safe and effective care of the patient.
2. Demonstrate current principles of patient care documentation.
3. Demonstrate understanding of quality assurance and informatics.
