Overview of Course:
This purpose of this activity is to enhance the in-depth understanding of and provide learning experiences in the utilization, actions, interactions, and adverse affects of anesthetics and adjuvant medications. Participants of the Applied Clinical Pharmacology CPC Core Module will be provided knowledge regarding high quality patient care and best available evidence on this topic. The AANA CPC Core Modules are recognized as CPC Core Modules by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
1. Recognize and respond to normal and abnormal pharmacological actions, interactions, and adverse effects medications.
The course has been prior approved by the AANA for 2.5 Class A CE credits; AANA Code number 1032951; Course Expiration Date 7/31/2020.
AANA designates this program as meeting the criteria for up to 2.5 CE credit in Pharmacology/Therapeutics.
The American Association of Nurse Anesthetists is accredited with distinction as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
