Overview of Course

CRNAs will understand the structure of different APMs, the amount of anesthesia costs included in different APMs, and how to think about preliminary risks and opportunities for potential partnerships with APMs.

Learner Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

  1. Understand the different cost mechanisms of APMs and how anesthesia services fit into these cost mechanisms.
  2. Differentiate the variation of anesthesia costs across different APMs.
  3. Understand at a high-level the different risks and opportunities for potentially engaging with different APMs.

Verification of Participation

The participant will have only 2 opportunities to successfully complete the course post-test, which is comprised of 5 random questions pulled from the test pool of questions. The passing score of at least 80% is required for the exam in this course. If the participant fails the post test, he or she will not receive CE credits for this course.
