Overview of Course:
The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to gain knowledge in ultrasound to help safely improve patient care and outcomes.
Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
1.Identify the basic components and functions of an ultrasound system.
2.Define body ergonomics and its impact on the performance of ultrasound-guided procedures.
3.Describe the strategies used to optimize an ultrasound image.
4.Describe common needle imaging strategies.
