Overview of Course
The purpose of this program is to provide the learner with the continuing education of a basic overview of the techniques and safety issues utilized by anesthesia practitioners in clinical practice working with fluoroscopy and CT scans.
Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
1. Identify techniques that reduce unnecessary radiation exposure to patients.
2. Describe safety procedures used with fluoroscopy to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
3. Describe good practices in medical imaging and patient care.
4. Describe how to maintain a quality improvement program.
Verification of Participation
The participant will have only 2 opportunities to successfully complete the course post-test, which is comprised of 10 random questions pulled from the test pool of questions. The passing score of at least 80% is required for the exam in this course. If the participant fails the post test, he or she will not receive CE credits for this course.
