Overview of Course
The purpose of this program is to provide the learner with an introduction and thorough overview of spinalanatomy, injection techniques, and fluoroscopy views for CRNAs, providing advanced pain management with the use of fluoroscopy.
Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
1. Recognize anatomical structures in the following plains of view: anterior/posterior, lateral, and oblique.
2. Correlate the spinal anatomical components under fluoroscopy for spinal interventions.
3. Identify the vertebral body, intervertebral disc, pedicle, spinous process, bilateral lamina, interspinous space, neuroforamen, squared-off vertebral body, and the "Scotty Dog."
4. Identify strategies to maintain patient safety.
Verification of Participation
The participant will have only 2 opportunities to successfully complete the course post-test, which is comprised of 10 random questions pulled from the test pool of questions. The passing score of at least 80% is required for the exam in this course. If the participant fails the post test, he or she will not receive CE credits for this course.
