Overview of Course:
OB Hemorrhage is the most common serious complication of childbirth and the most preventable cause of maternal mortality. The purpose of this activity is to analyze the physiologic changes of pregnancy along with their anesthetic implications and to recognize the signs and symptoms of an impending crisis to formulate a treatment plan based on up-to-date evidence.
Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
Demonstrate the ability to discuss anesthetic techniques and management of the parturient with emergent comorbidities.
The course post-test will not launch until you have full watched the video in its entirety. The passing score of at least 80% is required for the exam in this course. The participant will have only 1 opportunity to successfully complete the course post-test which is 10 random questions pulled from the test pool of questions. If the participant fails the post test, they will not receive CE credits for this course.
